Executive Board

On the local level, the Central Carolina Jaycees is governed by a Board of Directors. For 2016, the board members are:

President: Gina Guerrero

A Sanford native, Gina joined the chapter in 2010 because she wanted to be more involved in her community and make it a better place for everyone. Gina is an active member of the Sanford, N.C. community. After Graduating from UNC-Wilmington in 2007 after attending N.C. State University the first two years, she teaches seventh graders Pre-Algebra at a local middle school here in Lee County. Her four-legged best friend is “Dutch” boy who loves attention and ANYTHING to eat!

After holding several VP positions on the board, Gina served as the 2013 President and she was named a 2012 Armbruster. In 2016, Gina will be serving as our local chapter president trying to build our membership up in this community. Gina’s proud to be a CCJC, and absolutely loving the amazing friends made in this organization. She’s looking forward to another excellent year and supporting this year’s board.

Management VP: Dana Kaufman

Dana joined the Central Carolina Jaycees in 2002. Since that time she has held almost every local position available, as well as a handful of state positions. She was president of Central Carolina in 2007, that year the chapter received the John C. Kiger Memorial Award as the most outstanding chapter in the state of North Carolina.

This past January Dana was name JCI Senator #74877.  A JCI Senatorship is the highest honor which can be bestowed upon a current or past member by Junior Chamber International for outstanding service to the organization.  Dana is a real estate agent for Gordon & Associates.  In her spare time she enjoys spin class & baking. She and her husband Matt will be sending their youngest daughter Marissa of to Coker College in the Fall, where she received a soccer scholarship.  They look forward to having the house to themselves for a change.

Individual Development VP: Manda Jones

As the 2016 Individual Development Vice President, Amanda “JamminManda” Jones will use her outgoing and fun-loving spirit to enhance the Central Carolina Jaycees with new opportunities this year! From Team Building to Tango Lessons; Ethiopian Food to Everyday Fun – this year is sure to be a BLAST! As a graduate from the University of North Carolina (Go Heels!), Manda is a Commercial Real Estate Analyst with Situs, where she handles all primary servicing correspondence. She is active with her three kids’ schools, with the PTO and PTA, as well as serves on the Parent Advisory Board for Moore County. Manda is also involved with the Sandhills Jewish Congregation and assists with the Temple’s Junior Youth Group.

Community VP: Erin Beasley

With a passion to help others, Erin is this year’s Community VP. She hopes to organize several interesting and diverse projects to help her fellow Jaycees grow while supporting the community.

After joining the Jaycees in 2012, Erin took charge of one of the chapter’s largest event, the Community Easter Egg Hunt, and continued the success of our “Breakfast with Santa” project.

Erin works with special needs children in the Moore County School System, is an avid reader, enjoys watching black and white movies and hopes to, one day, meet extraterrestrials.

Membership VP: Angela Lett

Angela Lett is a graduate of Florida State University; with degrees in Psychology and Communications. She is married to her best friend Matt and they have two rambunctious boys Kash and Ryder. While her passion is non profit work, she is current fulfilling the most challenging and rewarding job as a stay at home mom. She has been a Jaycee since November 2010 and loves working with her community to make it a more enjoyable town for everyone.


Secretary: Candace Norris

Graduating from East Carolina in 2005, Candace moved back to her hometown of Sanford where she has been ever since. Candace has held various positions on the local level since joining in 2011 and has served on the state board in several capacities as well. This year she 2016 DSA Program manager for the NC Jaycees as well as secretary for the NC Jaycee Memorial Foundation in addition to her role as secretary for the Central Carolina Jaycees.

Candace works as an account manager for Scott Logistics in Cary, NC. Her hobbies include traveling, binge-watching Netflix and her two dogs, Moxxi and Daisy.

Treasurer: Amy Davis

A Sanford native, Amy joined the Central Carolina Jaycees in 2013. Her goals included getting more involved in the community and making it a better place for her family and others.

Amy has worked in the medical field for the past 10 years, and is an active member with ALZNC. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and the Jaycees.

Amy is a proud mom and wife who enjoys getting her family involved with the Jaycees. She looks forward to an amazing year serving on the board!

Chairman of the Board: Kamilah Davis

Kamilah Davis was born and raised in Sanford, NC.  Kamilah is the proud mother of two and is the Teen Director for Boys & Girls Club of Sanford / Lee County. Kamilah started volunteering with the Central Carolina Jaycees in 2009 and became a member the following year. She has served as Local Director, Membership Vice-President and President for the Chapter

A graduate of UNC-Greensboro, Kamilah is not a stranger to volunteering in Lee County. She serves on the board of Communities in Schools, Salvation Army and United Way all of Lee County. Kamilah is also very involved in her children’s schools and has served on the PTO for several years. She is an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, earning the title Ambassador of the Year for 2014 and 2015. Kamilah was the first person to graduate from all three Lee County Leadership classes and last year she was named The Herald’s 2015 Citizen of the Year.
