The central North Carolina region is packed full of leaders who strive for excellence and instill it in those around them. The Central Carolina Jaycees honored many of them at a Distinguished Service Awards banquet in early June.

The following local leaders were recognized for their hard work and continuing service to our community:

  • Travis Corley. Award: Outstanding Young Farmer

  • Larry Jackson. Award: Outstanding Senior Citizen
  • Howard Logue. Award: Outstanding Boss

The chapter also selected five community members of Jaycee age (21-41) who shine in their fields to receive the Outstanding North Carolinian award. They are:

  • Kristen Breedlove
  • Kamilah Davis

Congratulations to all of our winners!
