Marching for Babies

Hampton, Amber and I joined Team Stone on Saturday for the March of Dimes’ March for Babies. The weather was perfect, Nortel’s campus was beautiful and the kids were amped on popcorn and snowcones — you can’t find a better combination for a 3-mile walk.

Although, I’m convinced they measured wrong and the walk was really closer to 4 miles because DUDE I was exhausted at the end of it, the kids were tuckered out and Amber was craving protein. We pit-stopped at Micky D’s on the way home and I passed out as soon as I got in the house.

But I’m glad we were part of raising money and awareness for premature babies.
