We are hosting this year’s Family Day for our region. This will be a day of fun, family and – most importantly – watersports! Here’s what you need to know:
When: Sunday, June 29 at 2 pm
Where: Lake Harris County Park in New Hill (directions below)
Cost: $8 per person or $30 per family of 4-or-more
RSVP: by June 21 to Kelly Quinones Miller at 718-9504 or Dana Kaufman at 777-3543
We will host a cook out at Harris Lake’s picnic area on Sunday, June 29 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Participants can fish, swim, and play horseshoes or volleyball. There are also two playgrounds for children to enjoy — one for older children and one for toddlers. We encourage everyone to come out with their watercrafts — jet skis, kayaks, boats, etc — but we will have a deck boat at the cook out for everyone to enjoy. Those who go out on the water can wake board, tube or water ski. Participants should supply their own swim suits, towels, sunscreen, fishing rods and portable chairs.
We hope to see you there!
