Sanford Has A New Senator

At our last meeting, we honored Chad Adams with a Senatorship – the highest honor you can bestow on a Jaycee!

Chad was a founding member of the Central Carolina Jaycees and has been a powerful force in shaping both our chapter and the Sanford community. Past CCJCs Alecia Adams, Darla Cole, Ray Culler, and Christine Weatherspoon attending the meeting to congratulate Chad on this honor.

Past CCJC Ray Culler and current member Mike Cole both spoke about Chad’s long history with the Jaycees and how his experience in the organization helped him carve a unique path in his career with the John Locke Foundation. Mike also pointed out that without Chad’s influence in politics, half of Sanford’s current political figures would never have considered running for office.

So if you see Chad around, be sure to congratulate him on this honor. And don’t be hesitant to ask him how he thinks you can best serve your community or make the most of your experience in the Jaycees!
