Hot dogs are a wonderful food. They’re easy to cook, cheap, and generally filling. You can dress a dog up, or you can keep it simple. And the only real necessity it needs is a bun. I’m not being tongue-in-cheek, here. I’m quite serious when I say that we should venerate the hot dog.
We even placed it in the middle of the food line, ensuring its status as the center cut. Surrounding the hot dog were a myriad of condiments, many untraditional. Such as chicken, green beans, and the mysterious macaroni. We also had cake. Hmm, cake.
